a brief History
After graduating from Roanoke College, I began my career as an Event Planner. My first professional job was as the New River Valley Area Director of the American Heart Association and then I moved to Richmond as the Colonial Area Director. In 2000, I accepted the position of VP of Promotions & Events for Spectrum Research & Consulting in Tallahassee.
From 2003 to 2005, I traveled the state of Florida assessing resorts and planning conferences for the state universities and Florida legislature as the Associate Director of the Florida Student Association. For five years, I was also the Golf Tournament Director for the Association of the United States Army in Tallahassee.
My first company was an event planning and political consulting company founded in 2005 - Redfish Event Management. In 2009, we moved back to my hometown of Roanoke. In 2012 following many requests for my design work, I started my own web design business - Buffalo Creek Designs.
